Event Operations
Jim Minish is widely recognized as one of the top facility planners and event executives in the United States.
He currently serves as Event Operations Manager with Positive Impact and as Principal of Venue Solutions, a facility design and event management consulting firm to the sports and entertainment industries. Venue Solutions provides both start up and in-season services relating to facility design & renovation, venue operations, event management and event production. Two of his most recent assignments have been the Papal Visit to NYC in 2015 and serving as a site coordinator for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
As Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for the Meadowlands Sports Complex from 2003-2015 Minish supervised the staff responsible for planning, managing and implementing the operation of Giants Stadium, the IZOD Center and the Sports Complex site for event and non-event utilization. Minish maintained responsibilities for fiscal; event production and management; scheduling; served as prime contact with professional sports franchises and league offices.
Two of the more complex assignments help round out Minish's final years at the Meadowlands when he was the Senior Operations Executive for the 2014 Super Bowl and the WrestleMania.
From 1983-1990 Minish served the Meadowlands Sports Complex in various capacities, most notably as its General Manager of Giants Stadium.
Minish is a Graduate of Georgetown University and is a Member of the Stadium Managers Association's Board of Directors and a Volunteer for the New Jersey Special Olympics.
